We have worked with much larger companies in Milwaukee and Madison but from now on we will only buy from Silica. Silica has earned by business moving forward. Upon purchasing the appliance was installed and has been working flawless since. Silica not only offered that but had very good customer service that was able to answer every question I had about the products I was interested in. For me being able to go into a store and see what I am buying and come between two different options is what I consider the most important. Had an absolute great time! Now days a lot of people tend to buy things online. We plan to come back again and again and will continue to recommend their outstanding products and service to all our family and friends. This was our second appliance purchase from Silica. It was clear that his number one priority was to help us make an informed decision. Our salesman, Kevin, was knowledgeable, professional, kind, helpful, and honest without being pushy or arrogant. Everyone there was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Once again, we were extremely impressed with our experience at Silica For Your Home. What a pleasure to do business with a family owned, local caring company all under one roof. The prices were competitive and fair, and we did not have to travel the state shop. And Kathy in the furniture department was HANDS ON in helping design and arrange our furniture. Joe in the appliance department helped put a package together that would make a chef happy. Billy and his staff in the Electronics department really made our entertainment system decisions easy. THE WORST.īuilding a new home we relied on Silica for your Home to help us. Anybody who is within hearing range will know about my experience. Now i am sure, after all that aggravation, loss of foods, a refrigarator running up my electric bill( mind you, mine had to be plugged in while sitting in our Garage) they will expect me to pay for all this, because no warranty anymore. That is a 2000 dollar loss for them, b ut they dont seem to care. I had planned to buy a new Washer and Dryer. Well Thursday is here and we are still without our fridge. Told the lady i want that done by Thursday ( one week later) oh yes she will make sure to expedite. DaThat thing runs continually ( i am up till 4 or 5 AM every day ) thats how i know that. A day later she calls to inform me they would not put a new motor in. I told the lady who i was talking to, that we had a new one already. Called Silica, Repairman wants to put a new fanmotor in. Just to say neither my husband and I were aware when this started again.) Now it had gotten worse. (This has nothing to do with Silica, but in between all this, i became a double amputee. Well warranty is up and low and behold water again. Long story short, before our 1 year warranty ran out we had the Repair people out 4 times. New fan motor ran great and no water for a while. Days later they finally fixed it ( we thought ). Well it lasted a couple months, then the same story. Waste of money!!! Called Service department, they came, but the guy was guessing what it could be and left saying he thought he fixed it. This resulted in all my produce to spoil. About one month after purchase we had a water build up in the back of fridge and water in -and under crisper drawers. Not the most expensive, but still over 1400 dollars. We purchased a new Refrigerator from Silica. Silica Fond du Lac Service department sucks, cant put it any other way.
